- Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator – In Training
Courtney King, MD, NMIT
Dr. Courtney King is an integrative medicine physician and natural medicine clinical facilitator who brings an integrative, whole-person perspective to her work. Her approach draws from extensive experience in functional and integrative medicine, acupuncture, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and psychedelic-assisted care. She is passionate about helping people explore the connections between physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
After completing her medical training and residency in Family Medicine, Dr. Courtney spent several years practicing Integrative Medicine within the conventional healthcare system before moving into private practice. Her work is grounded in deep listening and a thoughtful exploration of the many factors that influence health and well-being, particularly for people seeking approaches that extend beyond traditional medical care.
Dr. Courtney has brought this integrative foundation into her work with psychedelic medicines. She completed the 200-hour Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy graduate program at Naropa University in 2023, including MAPS MDMA training, and received her Colorado Clinical Psilocybin Facilitator license in 2025. She is particularly interested in the ways psychedelic experiences can support emotional and spiritual exploration, deepen self-understanding, and contribute to a greater sense of wholeness.
Her appreciation for natural medicine is informed by study and experience across a range of healing traditions and perspectives. Dr. Courtney approaches psychedelic and natural medicine work with curiosity, respect, and an openness to the many ways people understand healing and personal transformation.
Across her work, Dr. Courtney brings curiosity, listening, and a spirit of exploration to the therapeutic process. She creates space for participants to slow down, connect more deeply with themselves, and explore what may support greater health, healing, and wholeness.
