Steven Forstner, LPC, NMIT
Steven F. is a natural medicine clinical facilitator and psychotherapist who works with individuals and groups, bringing a steady, relational, and deeply human presence to his work. His approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and psychedelic-assisted care to support meaningful insight, healing, and sustainable change.
A central focus of Steven’s work is psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and integration. He has extensive experience supporting ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, psilocybin assisted psychotherapy and post-psychedelic integration, and has served as a study therapist in clinical trials involving MDMA, psilocybin, and LSD. With more than 100 hours of direct clinical experience supporting psilocybin sessions, he emphasizes thoughtful preparation, attuned facilitation, and intentional integration to help participants carry meaningful insights into their everyday lives.
Steven is particularly interested in working with people navigating trauma and PTSD, neurodivergence, identity and life transitions, and spiritual or transpersonal exploration. His background in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology informs his appreciation for mindfulness, awareness, and the relationship between inner experience and lasting change.
Steven is passionate about the potential of natural and psychedelic medicines to support deeper self-understanding and meaningful transformation. He approaches this work with curiosity and respect for each person's unique process, recognizing the importance of creating a supportive environment in which difficult, unexpected, or deeply meaningful experiences can be explored with care.
Across his work, Steven is committed to creating spaces where participants feel safe, respected, and supported. He brings warmth, honest reflection, and practical guidance to the therapeutic process while honoring each individual's path toward healing, growth, and integration.
